White
Water Ratting
|
|
|
The challenge of the
daunting, turbulent rivers is no less, than that of the rugged
mountains. The icy heights of the Himalayas, are the source of some of
India's mighty rivers. Fed by innumerable streams, they race along
tortuous boulder - strewn beds, cutting deep gorges, and breaking into
silvery white rapids.
An intricate network of thundering mountain rivers, flowing through an
amazing landscape of thrilling gorges, forests, and remote villages,
the Garhwal and Kumaon hills, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, provide
ideal settings for some dramatic water adventure.

Rafting in Indus in
Ladakh is a great fun pleasure and adventure. Indus in Ladakh is on
high altitude so it becomes more excitement for the people who want to
negotiate the soft smooth path of Indus or the difficult from Nemo.
Those who don't know the swimming and have no experience in rafting
can negotiate from Karu to Nemo which is very smooth and not so fast
but it is advisable those who know swimming and some experience in
white water rafting to go beyond Nemo.
