This outstanding pilgrimage tours in India begin at Delhi, with a day visit to Taj Mahal at Agra and then quickly moves to Rishikesh, Explore this easy going city with its abundance of temples lining the river banks and Ghats, with their steps leading into the holy waters, visit Travani Ghat in the evening, one of the most atmospheric places to be, with semi-naked Sadhus making offerings and people floating lamps on the holy Ganges as the sunsets.

We then drive on winding mountain roads to our first camping sight in the valley created by River Alaknnda, surrounded by rolling hills. Our journey continues along the crushing River Alaknanda, and dense pine forests to the best camping sight on the tour at Auli, offering fine views of Nanda Devi, Doronagari and Nanda Devi East peaks.

The three days trek commences from Govind Ghat, following the Bhuntar Ganga, offering a dramatic view of Hati Parbat (6230mts), and surrounding mountains, the trek passes through beautiful Garhwali villages to our 2 nights base camp for the valley of flowers, just below Gangaria. The valley of Flowers, situated at almost 12,000fts above sea level at the foot of the Kamet and Zanskar mountain range is an exceptionally splendid place (sadly the best display of flowers is during mansoon). We return to Rishikes via Govind Ghat and Joshimath ( seat of Shankarachayara of North).

We visit Garhwal both before and after the mansoon. In the spring, when the winter snow has melted, many varieties of Orchids and rhododendrons flower profusely. In the autumn, clear skies allow stupendous views of Nanda Devi (7822mts), the mountain Goddess of Garhwal.

Day 1 : Arrive Delhi. Overnight in GuestHouse.
Day 2 : Full day excursion to Taj Mahal. Overnight in Guest house.
Day 3 : Train to Haridwar. Overnight at Rishikesh in hotel.
Day 4 : Drive to Nangprayag. Overnight in camp.
Day 5 : Drive to Auli. Overnight in camp.
Day 6 : Day of Rest and acclimatize. Overnight in Camp.
Day 7 : Trek to Gangaria. Overnight in Camp.
Day 8 : Trek to Valley of flowers. Overnight in camp.
Day 9 : Trek to Govind Ghat overnight in Hotel at Joshimath.
Day 10 : Drive to Augustmuni. Overnight in Camp.
Day 11 : Drive to Rishikesh. Overnight in hotel.
Day 12 : Explore Rishikesh and Haridwar. Overnight in hotel.
Day 13 : Drive back to Delhi, overnight in Guest house. Afternoon free for shopping.
Day 14 : After breakfast full days sightseeing in Delhi, late evening departure to airport.
Day 15 : Early morning flight to your home country.
